Jurong Port is seeking a seasoned IT Infrastructure leader to drive digital transformation, align technology roadmaps with business objectives and oversee complex infrastructure programs. You will champion change across Networks, Servers, Storage and Cloud services while coordinating budgets, resources and vendor contracts.

Act as a change agent for the Infrastructure function, translating high-level digital strategies into actionable plans aligned with organisational objectives and values.
Drive digital adoption and change management by communicating the benefits of digital initiatives, securing stakeholder buy-in, addressing resistance and implementing strategies to sustain transformation.
Track adoption, gather feedback and adjust strategies to maintain momentum and deliver sustainable transformation.
Coordinate budgets, resources, technology and training programmes to equip employees with the skills required for new digital tools and processes
Develop strategic plans and technology roadmaps for JP IT Infrastructure, covering Systems and Network, aligned with JP’s digital strategy and business objectives.
Identify, evaluate and embrace relevant technologies and solutions to enhance operational efficiency and business growth.
Oversee IT infrastructure architecture to ensure scalability, reliability and alignment with industry best practices.
Establish appropriate backup technologies, backup strategies and disaster recovery capabilities, ensuring recovery operations comply with IT policies and procedures.
Ensure effective support strategies across Network, Database, Windows, Linux, Virtualization, Backup/Restoration and Storage infrastructures.
Conduct comprehensive infrastructure capacity planning to support long-term requirements, optimal performance and future growth.
Review network policies, documentation and change requests to ensure compliance, minimise operational impact and maximise business benefits.
Develop and manage departmental budgets, cost projections and work plan initiatives, ensuring effective resource allocation.
Secure management and stakeholder buy-in for key projects and initiatives.
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of servers, networks, storage and cloud services, including technical specifications and procurement processes.
Evaluate vendor contracts and quotations, provide recommendations and manage relationships with IT vendors and external stakeholders, including contract negotiations.
Ensure outsourced services meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and provide technical expertise and input to tender documents.
Provide oversight of infrastructure projects covering technology, procurement and implementation, with regular progress updates to management and stakeholders.
Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to safeguard IT infrastructure and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Assess and mitigate infrastructure-related cybersecurity risks.
Ensure systems and operations comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Ensure timely rollout of system and hardware upgrades and patches.
Manage IT infrastructure-related audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
Lead, mentor and develop high-performing teams, fostering collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.
Allocate resources effectively across teams to support strategic initiatives and operational needs.
Identify training and skills development needs, assess team competencies and work with HR/training teams to implement development programmes.
Collaborate with teams within and outside the Digital Transformation Pillar to support infrastructure operations and business needs.
Provide guidance on technology choices and technology roadmaps to the teams
Minimum 10 years’ experience in IT Infrastructure, covering design, implementation and maintenance of systems, servers, storage and networks.
Minimum 7 years’ experience leading technical teams, with 5 years in IT infrastructure vendor and project management.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in cloud infrastructure solutioning and maintenance, with hands‑on experience in server, network, storage and security administration.
Strong technical knowledge of VMware, Windows Server, Linux, Oracle/MS Database and cybersecurity best practices.
Experience in IT infrastructure transformation and knowledge of relevant regulatory compliance requirements will be an advantage.
