Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a senior finance leader to drive the Asia finance strategy for a global listed technology manufacturer. You will partner with regional leadership to enhance performance and guide commercial, operational, and investment decisions across Asia.

The role requires deep finance leadership experience, strong stakeholder management, and a track record in finance transformation within multinational manufacturing. This is a high-visibility, strategic post based in Singapore.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of finance leadership experience in multinational manufacturing or industrial sectors.
• Proven track record leading regional finance teams across multiple countries.
• Strong commercial finance and business partnering capabilities with senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership with excellent communication and people development.
• Professional accounting qualification preferred (CPA/CA/ACCA).

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall finance agenda across Asia, providing strategic direction for planning, reporting, controls and decision support.
• Partner regional leadership on commercial, operational and investment decisions to drive performance.
• Support strategic initiatives including M&A evaluations and business cases.
• Act as regional finance lead for internal and external audit matters.
• Provide oversight of statutory and management reporting across entities and ensure alignment with group requirements.
• Lead FP&A and Controlling functions, driving planning, forecasting and performance management.
• Champion finance transformation and process improvements across markets.

Job Description

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will:

• Lead the overall finance agenda across Asia, providing strategic direction for planning, reporting, controls, and decision support
• Partner regional leadership teams on commercial, operational, and investment decisions to improve performance and business outcomes.
• Support strategic initiatives including M&A evaluations, investment appraisals, business cases, and integration activities
• Act as the regional finance lead for internal and external audit matters, ensuring robust governance and compliance standards
• Provide oversight of statutory and management reporting across multiple entities, ensuring alignment with group requirements
• Lead the regional Controlling and FP&A function, driving planning, forecasting, and performance management processes
• Champion finance transformation, process improvement and enhanced decision support across multiple countries and business units.

The Successful Applicant

• Degree-qualified in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline; professional accounting qualification preferred (CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent).
• At least 15 years of work experience in a finance leadership capacity, ideally within multinational manufacturing, industrial, engineering businesses etc.
• Proven track record leading regional finance teams across multiple countries and driving organisational change or finance transformation initiatives.
• Strong commercial finance and business partnering capabilities, with experience influencing senior stakeholders and operational leaders.
• Demonstrated leadership ability with strong communication, stakeholder management, and people development skills.
