Job summary

Singapore Red Cross Society is seeking a Head of Department to lead HoME+ and ElderAid, guiding strategy, growth and partnerships to support isolated seniors in Singapore.

You will shape future direction, oversee operations, governance, and stakeholder relations, and develop staff and volunteer capabilities to deliver high-impact community programmes.

The role requires strategic vision, strong leadership and a hands-on approach to ensure sustainable outcomes in an aging society.

Qualifications

• Degree from a recognised institution.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Leadership management experience preferred.
• Experience in social service sector and/or with volunteers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for HoME+ and ElderAid.
• Develop and implement plans to achieve programme targets and impact.
• Review relevance, effectiveness and sustainability of programmes.
• Develop partnerships and resources to support growth and delivery.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, governance and compliance.
