Standard Chartered in Singapore seeks a senior leader to drive data management capabilities for CIB, aligning with global data strategy and regulatory expectations. The role partners with Group CDO, T&O, CFCR, and CDO teams to embed data governance, drive transformation, and ensure effective data risk management across the bank’s business units.

You will own the demand backlog, prioritise capabilities, and influence across 1LOD–3LOD to maximise business value and compliance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Corporate & Investment Banking, across jurisdictions.
• Experience across two or more CIB domains such as Markets, Coverage, Transaction Banking, etc.
• Deep understanding of end-to-end lifecycle of CIB processes and data workflows.
• Led large-scale, enterprise transformation initiatives relating to data capabilities.
• Prior data (risk) management experience and awareness of regulatory requirements.
• Experience preparing program reports and updates to senior management.
• Familiarity with Agile and SDLC methodologies.

Responsabilités

• Define and execute the CIB data management capability strategy, ensuring alignment with business priorities and regulatory requirements.
• Champion continuous innovation and scalable data capabilities across CIB.
• Identify required data capabilities and shape target solutions with stakeholder input.
• Remove blockers to rollout, adoption and effective use of data capabilities.
• Deliver and embed data capabilities across CIB and train stakeholders to drive adoption.
• Provide advisory on data capability design, implementation and rollout.
