Job summary

HSBC Singapore is seeking a Team Manager - Corporate Banking Client Coverage to lead Relationship Managers, shape client strategy and strengthen cross-border coverage for multinational clients.

You will drive risk management, deliver product solutions across HSBC, and coordinate with product partners to ensure compliant, high-quality client service within a complex matrix organisation.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in corporate banking, commercial banking or client coverage.
• Strong knowledge of Corporate Banking solutions and credit.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience handling complex or multi-jurisdictional client relationships.
• Promotes a strong risk culture and documented decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Set objectives and priorities for the team aligned with business strategy.
• Coach Relationship Managers to strengthen client coverage and credit capabilities.
• Manage resources across portfolio and ensure standards of client coverage.
• Develop deep understanding of clients’ business, industry and market dynamics.
• Execute client strategy and account plans with product partners to drive growth.
• Drive full product solutioning across HSBC products (transactions, risk, investments).
• Coordinate with partners to deliver seamless client delivery from onboarding to execution.
• Identify and escalate credit, conduct, financial crime, or reputational risks.
• Act as first line of defence to protect HSBC against Financial Crime.
