Job summary

Tengah General and Community Hospital (TGCH) invites applications for the Head of Clinical Pharmacy Service to help shape clinical pharmacy from the ground up as part of TGCH’s innovative health campus in Tengah, Singapore.

The role focuses on leading clinical practice standards, developing training frameworks, and growing a sustainable pharmacist workforce within a multidisciplinary care environment.

What would you build if you could shape clinical pharmacy from the start?

We are looking for an experienced Head of Clinical Pharmacy Service to help shape the clinical pharmacy services at TGCH.

This is more than stepping into an established service. As part of the team building TGCH, you will have the opportunity to shape the direction, systems and people behind our future clinical pharmacy service.

You will

• Identify priority areas, develop implementation plans, and establish workflows, protocols and measures of impact.
• Establish standards for clinical practice Develop competency frameworks, standards and training programmes to support consistent, high-quality clinical practice.
• Grow our pharmacists Nurture pharmacists through structured training, clinical case discussions, continuous professional development and career progression, while building a sustainable workforce and succession pipeline.
• Partner across the healthcare team Work closely with doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals to integrate pharmacy services into multidisciplinary care.
• Shape the future of pharmacy Collaborate with pharmacy operations and contribute to formulary development, cost-effective prescribing and the adoption of technology-enabled practice.

Who are we looking for?

Principal Pharmacist (P15) and above, who brings strong clinical judgement, leadership and communication skills, and who is passionate about developing people and building services that make a meaningful difference to patient care.
