Job summary

Tengah General and Community Hospital (TGCH) invites applications for the Head of Clinical Pharmacy Service to help shape clinical pharmacy from the ground up as part of TGCH’s innovative health campus in Tengah, Singapore.

The role focuses on leading clinical practice standards, developing training frameworks, and growing a sustainable pharmacist workforce within a multidisciplinary care environment.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical judgement and leadership to guide pharmacy practice.
• Ability to design and implement competency frameworks and training programs.
• Experience developing services and leading pharmacists’ professional development.

Responsibilities

• Identify priority areas, develop implementation plans, and establish workflows and measures of impact.
• Establish standards for clinical practice and training.
• Grow the pharmacist workforce through structured development and succession planning.
• Partner with doctors, nurses and the broader care team to integrate pharmacy into multidisciplinary care.
• Shape the future of pharmacy through formulary development and technology-enabled practice.
