Job summary

The Head of Business Operations, Beauty at Dyson Institute leads a team of Business Operations Managers across Beauty product categories, guiding end-to-end execution from portfolio decisions to market launches, cost reduction, SKU lifecycle, and quality improvements.

You will partner with Portfolio, NPD, Operations, Demand & Supply Planning, Procurement, Commercial and CRO to deliver strategic objectives while upholding launch excellence and cost targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 8+ years in operations, supply chain, or product-focused management within consumer products or related sectors.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multi-category product portfolios.
• Expertise in product launch planning, SKU management, inventory control and lifecycle management.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen; cost reduction and value engineering experience.
• Collaborative, influencing across levels in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical, problem-solving and continuous improvement skills; strong communication.
• Experience with cost engineering, competitor analysis, and NPD operations is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Business Operations team, providing strategic direction and high performance.
• Partner with Portfolio to operationalize decisions, ensuring flawless launches and SKU changes.
• Oversee launch planning through Launch Readiness milestones with cross-functional teams.
• Own SKU management, phase-in/phase-out, and prevent ageing inventory or obsolete stock.
• Monitor and manage inventory health with Demand & Supply Planning and regional teams.
• Champion continuous improvement in product quality and repairability while reducing cost.
• Drive ongoing product cost reduction using cost analyses and competitive insights.
• Represent Business Operations on the Product Leadership Team for projects.
• Implement best practices in SKU lifecycle management across NPD and global ops.
• Report on key operations KPIs with transparency and accountability.
