Job summary

TERREPOWER (formerly BBB Industries) is seeking a Director of Asian Sourcing & Procurement to lead strategy, supplier development, and performance across Asia. You will drive cost competitiveness and supply-chain resilience while building a Singapore team and aligning with growth plans.

The role requires deep automotive aftermarket knowledge, extensive Asia supplier networks, and leadership of cross-functional teams across multiple markets. Travel across Asia is expected.

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years in automotive aftermarket sourcing or procurement.
• Strong supplier network in Asia (China, India, Taiwan, etc.).
• Proven cost savings from high-volume automotive programs.
• Experience with private-label development and supplier qualification.
• Experience managing international teams and stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Asia.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the long-term Asian sourcing strategy across China, India, Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, and other markets.
• Lead private-label and exclusive aftermarket programs — quotations, samples, tooling, and launches.
• Own supplier negotiations and landed-cost modeling; deliver annual cost reductions and margin improvements.
• Build strategic supplier relationships; run supplier scorecards, audits, and corrective actions.
• Identify risks and implement dual-source strategies to strengthen supply-chain resilience.
• Lead Shanghai sourcing org and build a new Singapore team with KPIs.
