Job summary

FVWARD Badminton Centre is looking for a dedicated badminton coach to train school teams and individuals. You will prepare yearly plans, track progress, and lead coaching staff to deliver high-quality sessions for youth players in Singapore.

Requirements include MOE Instructor permit, NROC Level 1, and CPR/AED First Aid certification, with at least one year coaching experience in schools. Work schedule spans weekday afternoons/evenings and some weekends.

Qualifications

• MOE registration in CCA/Physical sports – Badminton is required.
• Active membership with NROC Level 1.
• First aid with CPR and AED certification required.
• MOE Instructor permit validity required.

We major in providing badminton coaching services to Schools, Community Clubs and individuals through our Academies.

Job Summary

Coach badminton teams and individuals by preparing yearly plans and progress reports, managing coaching staff, and sparring with youth elite players to develop high-level skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare yearly training plans and progress reports for school teams and individual students to track development and performance


• Manage and coordinate coaches and junior coaches to ensure effective training delivery and team support


• Spar with youth elite players to maintain high-level playing standards and demonstrate advanced techniques


• Coach Singapore school badminton teams, applying experience from at least one year of school coaching


• Adapt to flexible working hours, primarily weekday afternoons and evenings, and weekend shifts to meet training schedules

Required competencies and certifications

• Valid Instructor registration with MOE under the category – CCA/Physical sports – Badminton


• Active membership with NROC Level 1


• Valid first aid certification including CPR and AED


• Valid MOE Instructor permit


• Experience coaching Singapore Schools for at least one year

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• High-level badminton player status, preferably ex-National or ex-Malaysia state player

Other Information

• Working hours: 6 days per week, 40 hours total, with 6 to 8 hours per day


• Starting pay: $4000 per month
