Job summary

REME E TRADING PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Chief Cook to lead our kitchen team, create and implement the menu, manage the budget, and order supplies while training and supervising staff from sous chefs to dishwashers.

Qualifications

• Extensive training in food preparation, kitchen management and sanitation.
• Experience across multiple kitchen roles and proven success as a chef.
• Strong leadership, communication, and ability to work under pressure.
• Familiar with trends, workshops, and new recipes.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement the restaurant's menu considering preferences and ingredient availability.
• Manage daily kitchen operations including scheduling, ordering, and budget.
• Train and supervise kitchen staff including sous chefs, line cooks and dishwashers.
• Coordinate with front-of-house and management to ensure smooth operations.
• Stay current with culinary trends and techniques through classes and research.
