Job summary

Salling Search PTE. LTD. is seeking a Handy Broker in Singapore to source cargo and vessels, provide market insights, and grow a book of business in the Handysize dry bulk segment.

You will work closely with senior brokers to meet client needs and contribute to revenue targets. The role requires 2–5 years of hands-on dry bulk shipbroking experience, an established network of shipowners and charterers, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced commercial environment focused on results

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in dry bulk shipbroking, Handysize segment.
• Established network of shipowners and charterers with market knowledge.
• Independent, fast-paced, commercial and relationship-driven approach.

Responsibilities

• Source and fix cargo and vessels within the Handysize dry bulk segment.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with shipowners and charterers to secure opportunities.
• Monitor market developments and freight trends to inform decisions.
• Provide freight intelligence and commercial insights to support growth.
• Collaborate with senior brokers to enhance team performance and revenue targets.
• Develop and expand a personal book of business through proactive client engagement.
