Job summary

CHASEN LOGISTICS SERVICES LIMITED in Singapore is seeking a hands-on maintenance technician to carry out general repair, maintenance, and improvement works across factory, office, and dormitory facilities.

You will tackle plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and other building maintenance tasks, inspect areas, use basic tools, and support contracted technicians while ensuring safety and organization.

Qualifications

• Practical and able to handle basic repair and maintenance tasks independently.
• Physically fit and able to perform hands-on work.
• Responsible, reliable, and willing to work.
• Able to use basic hand tools and maintenance equipment.
• Experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, or general building maintenance will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general repair, maintenance, and improvement works at the factory, office, and dormitory.
• Perform basic plumbing works, such as fixing leaking taps, pipes, toilets, and water-related issues.
• Carry out basic electrical works, such as changing light bulbs, switches, sockets, and minor electrical fittings.
• Perform basic carpentry and furniture repair, including repairing doors, cabinets, tables, chairs, and shelves.
• Carry out painting, patching, drilling, mounting, and other general repair works.
• Inspect buildings, facilities, equipment, and common areas regularly and attend to maintenance issues.
• Assist with setting up, moving, assembling, and dismantling furniture, equipment, and fixtures.
• Carry out minor repair and maintenance of dormitory facilities and common areas.
• Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean, organised, and in good condition.
• Identify maintenance problems and report major repair issues to the supervisor.
• Assist contractors or external technicians when repair or maintenance works are carried out.
• Ensure all maintenance work is carried out safely and properly.
• Perform other ad-hoc repair, maintenance, and facility-related duties as assigned.
