Job summary

BESTBUILT CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support planning, coordination and execution of construction projects.

You will assist the Project Director in day-to-day site operations and coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams. The role requires 3–5 years of construction experience, strong communication and planning skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in civil engineering, building, construction management or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
• Strong communication, planning and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Director in managing day-to-day project and site operations.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, site teams and internal departments.
• Monitor project progress, schedules, manpower, materials and site activities.
• Ensure works follow approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and project requirements.
• Prepare and update project schedules, progress reports and project documentation.
• Attend site, coordination and project meetings and follow up on outstanding matters.
• Coordinate submissions, drawings, materials, inspections and approvals for project execution.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure works meet schedule.
• Identify site issues and assist in resolving them promptly.
• Liaise with Quantity Surveying on variations, procurement and costs.
• Work with Safety team to ensure compliance with safety requirements.
• Assist in inspections, testing, handover, defect rectification and completion activities.
• Maintain proper project records and site documentation.
