Job summary

HMR SINGAPORE TRADING PTE. LTD. is seeking a driven Business Development Manager to lead sales initiatives, identify growth opportunities, and expand the client base in Singapore.

You will develop and execute sales strategies, build relationships with prospects, and help shape the company’s market approach. The role requires a proven track record in business development or sales, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• Proven background in developing growth strategies and closing deals.

Responsibilities

• Develop a growth strategy focused on financial gain and customer satisfaction
• Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
• Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
• Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
• Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
• Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
• Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
• Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
• Develop entry level staff into valuable salespeople
• Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met.
• Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills
• Finding and developing new markets and improving sales
• Perform any other duties assigned by the director
