• Coordinate and oversee financial reporting across Singapore, Malaysia and Vietnam.
• Work with the respective country accountants, who retain responsibility for their local accounting operations and statutory requirements.
• Establish consistent group accounting policies, reporting formats, closing procedures and internal control standards.
• Review monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, profit and loss statements, cash flow reports and significant accounting adjustments.
• Coordinate timely monthly closing and consolidated group reporting.
• Ensure that intercompany transactions, balances and reconciliations are properly recorded and resolved.

Job description

• Coordinate and oversee financial reporting across Singapore, Malaysia and Vietnam.
• Work with the respective country accountants, who retain responsibility for their local accounting operations and statutory requirements.
• Establish consistent group accounting policies, reporting formats, closing procedures and internal control standards.
• Review monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, profit and loss statements, cash flow reports and significant accounting adjustments.
• Coordinate timely monthly closing and consolidated group reporting.
• Ensure that intercompany transactions, balances and reconciliations are properly recorded and resolved.
• Monitor accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, provisions, accruals and other key balance sheet items.
• Maintain appropriate financial controls over purchasing, sales, payments, credit, inventory and expenditure.
• Identify unusual transactions, discrepancies, control weaknesses and emerging financial risks, escalating material issues promptly.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisers, banks and other professional service providers when required.
