Job summary

PERSOL OUTSOURCING SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is hiring for a 1-year contract position based at Changi Airport, with a rotating 2 days on/2 days off shift cycle (8:30am–8:30pm and 8:30pm–8:30am; night shift allowance).

The role requires on-site work in the baggage handling area, handling real-time scheduling updates, reporting, and coordination with various stakeholders to meet KPI targets and ensure safe, efficient baggage operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum Higher Nitec with any relevant education.
• Experience in an airline/airport operations environment (preferably 2 years).
• Must be on-site in baggage handling area.
• Prefer to have Class 3 driving license to drive baggage truck.
• Airline/airport scheduling experience an advantage, preferably with gate and baggage scheduling systems.
• Familiarity with aircraft types and Apron & Baggage operations would be an advantage.
• Must be able to work shift and weekends (if required).

Responsibilities

• Implement the seasonal schedule by ensuring the relevant parties update the operational database with real-time data.
• Prepare various reports, such as Sitrep, for internal and external stakeholders.
• Manually updating Baggage Information and Flight Information Displays.
• Troubleshooting multiple, often simultaneous, scheduling conflicts as they arise.
• Coordinate with Engineering Baggage Control Room for real time operational changes and challenges in the Baggage Handling Area (BHA).
• Ensure Arrival Baggage Presentation performance and mishandling rate are met or exceeds KPI.
• Ensure the BHA is always kept clean and tidy by working with FM External and other stakeholders.
• Report to Facilities Management Committee for any issues with the facilities and cleaning.
• Facilitate Joint Inspections with stakeholders together with Airside Support Officers or higher.
• Close coordination with all baggage stakeholders for VIP flights and exception handling.
• Attend to incident on-site and carry out investigation procedures.
• Perform enforcement works to ensure staff abide to safety and security measurements.
