Job summary

BUILDING SYSTEM AND DIAGNOSTICS PTE. LTD. invites a Green Building Consultant to guide clients in adopting sustainable building practices and to lead project teams toward their green goals in Singapore.

You will advise on green certifications, energy efficiency, and eco-friendly materials to minimize environmental impact. Responsibilities include supporting Green Mark/LEED/WELL submissions, data collection and analysis on energy systems, and preparing sustainability reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Engineering, Sustainability, or related field.
• Professional certification such as LEED AP/WELL AP/GMAP/GMAAP is commendable, but not compulsory
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Good working attitude.

Responsibilities

• Support in Green Certifications: Assist in preparing documentation and calculations for green certifications such as Green Mark, LEED, WELL, and Wired score. Coordinate with clients and consultants to gather necessary data for submissions
• Data Collection and Analysis: Perform basic analyses on energy efficiency, lighting, HVAC systems and other feasibility
• Technical Support: Provide technical support in preparing energy efficiency and sustainability reports. Review technical drawings and specifications for alignment with sustainability goals
• Project Management Assistance: Track project timelines and ensure milestone are met for deliverables. Attend project meetings and prepare minutes, ensuring follow-ups on assigned tasks
• Communicate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to align project goals
• Represent the ESD team in discussions about sustainability initiatives
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain organized records for all sustainability-related documentation
• Ad-hoc Tasks: Assist with additional tasks as directed by senior ESD engineers or management
• Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and advancements in green building practices. Continuously enhance expertise through training and professional development.
