Job summary

Tura Executive in Singapore is seeking an experienced Grains & Oilseeds Execution professional to manage end-to-end physical trades from South America into Asia, including China. This hands-on role requires 2-5+ years in commodity execution or trade operations and a strong background in LC documentation.

You will coordinate contract execution, shipment, documentation, and settlement, liaise with banks, shipping teams, and counterparties, and ensure timely, accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day execution and administration of physical Grains & Oilseeds trades.
• Coordinate the full trade lifecycle from contract execution through to shipment, documentation and settlement.
• Prepare, review and manage Letters of Credit (LCs) and related banking documentation.
• Handle trade and shipping documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual requirements.
• Coordinate with counterparties, suppliers, buyers, banks, shipping teams, surveyors and other relevant stakeholders.
• Monitor shipment schedules, cargo movements and contractual obligations.
• Liaise with origin and destination teams across South America and Asia, particularly China.
• Support the resolution of operational, documentary and contractual issues arising during execution.
• Maintain accurate trade records and ensure all documentation is completed within required deadlines.
• Work closely with the wider trading, operations and post-fixture teams to ensure smooth execution of physical trades.

Job description

A growing international commodities business is looking to hire a Grains & Oilseeds Execution professional to join its Singapore team.

The role will focus on the end-to-end execution of physical Grains & Oilseeds trades, supporting flows originating from South America into Asia, including China.

This is a hands-on execution role and would suit someone with approximately 2-5+ years of relevant experience across commodity execution, trade operations or contracts administration. Candidates with strong experience in LC documentation and trade documentation will be particularly relevant.

Requirements

• 2-5+ years' experience in commodity execution, trade operations or a similar role.
• Relevant experience within Grains & Oilseeds is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of LC documentation and international trade documentation.
• Experience handling physical commodity trades and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
• Good understanding of the execution process from contract through to shipment and settlement.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple trades and deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Experience with South American origin cargoes and/or Asian destination markets, particularly China, would be advantageous.
• English & Mandarin language skills are preferred given the regional exposure.
