Job summary

Onyx Capital APAC PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an entry-level Trader Analyst to join our trading team on a 6-month training contract, with potential progression to a permanent role. This position is based in Singapore and requires strong academic foundations.

Candidates should hold a STEM degree (Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD) and have programming exposure in Python, R or C++. You will perform trading support tasks, assist with futures and OTC executions, and help develop trading strategies.

Qualifications

• Entry-level with up to 1 year of relevant experience.
• Experience programming in Python, R, or C++ is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily trading support tasks including trade entry and reconciliation

• Support traders in research, development, and implementation of trading strategies

We’re looking for candidate with the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD degree, ideally from a STEM discipline

All our Trader Analyst join Onyx on a 6-month training contract initially, with progression to a permanent contract, thereafter, based on performance.

This role is based in Singapore, and we are looking for individuals who are available to start within 1 - 2 months.
