Qualifications

• Completing or recently completed Bachelor's or Master's in AI, Software Development, CS, CE or related field.
• Strong programming skills with good code design and style.
• Experience with Go, Python, Java or C++ is expected.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, networking and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with high-concurrency content processing and distributed frameworks like Flink/Spark and messaging with Kafka/Pulsar.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize recommendation system architectures for scalability and performance.
• Build and optimize backend services ensuring data security and modularity.
• Maintain production system stability through troubleshooting and tooling.
• Develop distributed storage and computing systems for massive data scales.
• Advance content understanding and LLM-related optimization, meeting global user needs.
• Collaborate with global teams to tackle architecture challenges for TikTok users worldwide.
