Job summary

TikTok invites graduates to join the Recommendation Architecture Team, designing and building next-generation recommender systems and AI agent-based workflows. Qualifications

• Degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Proficient in C, C++, Java, or Golang with strong backend basics.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, data structures, and algorithms.
• Excellent communication, ownership, and ability to work independently in ambiguity.
• Interest in AI Agent systems, automation, or infrastructure platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop intelligent engineering tools for large-scale recommendation systems, providing standardized and productized solutions to improve R&D efficiency and engineering quality.
• Build AI Agent-based development workflow systems to improve stability, efficiency, and cost across the software lifecycle.
• Develop gray release systems for safe, stable release strategies and workflows.
• Enhance observability for global multi-region deployments with end-to-end tracing and improved issue attribution.
• Create algorithm engineering toolchains from experimentation to production deployment to improve iteration speed and delivery quality.
• Overhaul platform architectures and develop data intelligence assistants for smarter operations and scalable engineering practices.
