Job summary

ResMed seeks a Graduate Manufacturing Engineer to join our Manufacturing Engineering team. You will be embedded within a Product Focus Team (PFT) and collaborate with Production, Quality, and Product Development to support day‑to‑day operations while driving continuous improvement.

You’ll learn on the shop floor, contribute ideas to improve ergonomics, efficiency, and safety, and participate in Lean, Six Sigma initiatives.

Qualifications

Mechanical aptitude and a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline.
Hands-on manufacturing interest with exposure to final product assembly environments (internships/projects).
Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
Familiarity with fixtures, automation ideas, or mechanical design concepts.

Responsibilities

Provide direct engineering support to the Product Focus Team (PFT) and understand manufacturing processes.
Troubleshoot process and equipment issues to maintain output, quality, and safety.
Create, update, and maintain manufacturing documentation including work instructions and process flows.
Support process validation and verification activities in line with Quality System requirements.
Identify improvements to assembly processes and contribute to Lean initiatives.
