Job summary

ResMed in Tuas, Singapore, invites applications for a Graduate Manufacturing Engineer. You will be embedded in a Product Focus Team, supporting day-to-day manufacturing while driving continuous improvement.

You will develop understanding of processes, assist in deviations, create documentation, and contribute ideas for fixtures and simple automation on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline.
• Hands-on interest in manufacturing and shop-floor work.
• Exposure to final product assembly environments.
• Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
• Familiarity with mechanical design concepts, fixtures, or automation ideas.
• Interest or exposure to collaborative robotics, process validation, or data analytics.
• Comfortable working in a regulated manufacturing or quality-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct engineering support to the PFT by developing a deep understanding of the manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Support production teams in troubleshooting process and equipment issues to maintain output, quality, and safety.
• Assist in activities related to process deviations, defects, or equipment challenges.
• Create, update, and maintain manufacturing documentation including work instructions, process flows, and validation records.
• Support process validation and verification activities in line with regulated Quality System requirements.
• Ensure manufacturing processes comply with OH&S, GMP, and quality standards.
• Actively identify opportunities to improve manual and semi-automated assembly processes.
• Contribute ideas for mechanical fixtures, jigs, tooling, and simple automation solutions to enhance ergonomics, efficiency, and repeatability.
• Participate in Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve cycle times.
• Represent Manufacturing Engineering while working closely with Product Development to ensure designs are robust and manufacturable.
• Build strong working relationships with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering peers to exchange information and solve problems.
• Receive guidance and mentoring from experienced manufacturing engineers.
• Gradually take on increased responsibility, progressing from routine engineering tasks to project-based contributions over time.
