Job summary

TikTok is hiring in Singapore for a PhD-level researcher to advance AI for e-commerce governance, NLP and multimodal models. You will build domain-specific large language and multimodal systems, explore data construction, instruction tuning, and efficient fine-tuning techniques, and work with cross-functional teams to apply models to business scenarios.

Successful candidates will have a PhD in CS/SE or related field, strong programming, deep learning experience, and excellent collaboration

Qualifications

• PhD degree required in a technical field (CS/SE/eng).
• Solid programming skills and solid algorithms/data structures knowledge.
• Deep learning, NLP or multimodal learning experience.
• Strong collaboration and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop domain-specific LLM/MLLM for e-commerce governance.
• Improve MPC/algorithm-based review systems for governance tasks.
• Research and optimize NLP and multimodal models for multilingual tasks.
• Experiment with data construction, instruction tuning, CoT, and PEFT techniques.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy models in business scenarios.
