Job summary

ByteDance Singapore's Technology team seeks a PhD-educated ML/NLP researcher to develop domain-specific large language models for ecommerce, coupling domain knowledge with rapid deployment to business scenarios. You’ll work on governance, detection, and optimization tasks across the platform.

Qualifications

• PhD in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Strong foundation in data structures and algorithms; proficient in multiple frameworks.
• Experience in ML, deep learning, NLP, or multimodal learning; good communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop LLM/MLLM for e-commerce with domain knowledge.
• Improve governance via advanced review systems and detection.
• Enhance models with data construction, fine-tuning, CoT, PEFT.
• Address governance challenges using multimodal models.
• Research and optimize NLP and multimodal models for multilingual tasks.
