Job summary

ByteDance’s Datacenter Infrastructure Engineering team in Global Operations invites graduates to join and learn server, networking, and data center operations with onboarding by year-end. You will gain hands-on experience addressing real-world data center challenges and supporting scalable cloud services.

You will troubleshoot servers, network gear, and ticketing workflows, while managing inventory and applying change management and disaster recovery plans to ensure high availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/ Master’s/ PhD in Engineering, Facilities or related discipline.
• Equivalent professional experience or certification in Engineering or facility management.
• Willingness to learn about hyperscale Data Center operations from basics.

Responsibilities

• Learn to troubleshoot, repair and replace faulty server components.
• Learn to troubleshoot networking devices and cabling.
• Learn to interpret server break fix tickets to address issues.
• Learn to manage data center inventory and assets.
• Learn change management and disaster recovery processes.
