Job summary

TikTok in Singapore is seeking graduates to join the Search Infrastructure team to design and build offline data architectures for large-scale e-commerce recommendation and search systems.

You will work on scalable storage and computing for big data workloads, ensure production stability, and develop analytics to extract actionable insights using data mining, ML, and NLP across extensive datasets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence, Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline.
• Familiar with open source big data frameworks (Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Kafka, ElasticSearch, etc.).
• Familiar with Java, C++ and other programming languages.
• Strong coding and trouble shooting ability.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement offline data architectures for large-scale e-commerce recommendation and search systems
• Build flexible, scalable, and high-performance storage and computing systems for e-commerce big data workloads
• Ensure production system stability through troubleshooting, mechanism design, and tooling development
• Develop data analytics and visualization capabilities to transform raw e-commerce data into meaningful insights
• Apply data mining, machine learning, and NLP to extract insights from large-scale e-commerce datasets
• Optimize data pipelines for feature generation, model training, and search index construction for e-commerce scenarios
