Job summary

Sourceability is a global digital distributor of electronic components transforming how modern businesses bring products to market. We source products by qualifying and managing supplier relationships to accelerate procurement across the electronics industries.

This Purchasing role requires a Diploma and at least two years in manufacturing procurement, with a focus on semiconductors and memory goods. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, strong negotiation and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma in any field.
• Minimum 2 years purchasing experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably semiconductor/electronic components.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Good communication, negotiation and sourcing skills.

Responsibilities

• Source product through prospecting new suppliers and managing existing supplier relationships.
• Maintain records of goods ordered and received.
• Locate vendors of materials, equipment or supplies, and interview them to determine product availability and terms of sales.
• Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for suppliers and equipment.
• Review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.
• Collaborate with Account Executive team through proprietary ERP system, keeping detailed notes to maintain our unique competitive advantage
• Proactively bring offers of product to sell
• Responsible for other duties and obligations that may arise from time and as requested from the supervisor and /or company’s management.
• Experience in sourcing of CPU, GPU, memory.
