Job summary

Sourceability is a global digital distributor of electronic components headquartered in Singapore. We seek a Purchasing professional to source products and manage supplier relationships within the manufacturing sector.

You will handle purchase orders, negotiate terms, and use our ERP system to maintain records. A Diploma with 2 years of purchasing experience in semiconductors is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma in any field.
• Minimum 2 years purchasing experience in manufacturing, preferably semiconductor/electronic components.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
• Strong communication, negotiation, problem-solving and sourcing skills.

Responsibilities

• Source products by prospecting new suppliers and managing existing supplier relationships.
• Maintain records of goods ordered and received.
• Locate vendors and interview them to determine product availability and terms of sales.
• Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for suppliers and equipment.
• Review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Source product through prospecting new suppliers and managing existing supplier relationships.
• Maintain records of goods ordered and received.
• Locate vendors of materials, equipment or supplies, and interview them to determine product availability and terms of sales.
• Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for suppliers and equipment.
• Review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.
• Collaborate with Account Executive team through proprietary ERP system, keeping detailed notes to maintain our unique competitive advantage
• Proactively bring offers of product to sell
• Responsible for other duties and obligations that may arise from time and as requested from the supervisor and /or company's management.
• Experience in sourcing of CPU, GPU, memory is a plus.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in any field.
• Minimum 2 years of purchasing experience in the manufacturing industry preferably in the semiconductor,electronic components industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Words and Excel).
• Good Communication, negotiation, problem solving and sourcing skills.
