Job summary

Sourceability is a global digital distributor of electronic components. We are seeking a procurement professional in Singapore to lead sourcing, supplier management, and market risk analysis, coordinating with sales and logistics to align supply with demand.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in electronics procurement, strong negotiation and contract skills, and a deep understanding of industry regulations and counterfeit prevention.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in procurement, commodity management, or supply chain in the electronics industry.
• Deep understanding of the electronic components market and brokerage industry.
• Familiarity with key suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors in the industry.
• Knowledge of industry regulations, compliance, and counterfeit prevention.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess market trends and risks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for electronic components.
• Identify and qualify suppliers, negotiating contracts and pricing agreements.
• Ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality and reliability.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
• Conduct supplier performance evaluations and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Negotiate favorable terms on cost, lead times, and service levels.
• Monitor market trends, price fluctuations, and supply chain risks in the electronic broker industry.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies to prevent disruptions in supply.
• Analyze commodity pricing, global demand, and geopolitical factors affecting supply chains.
• Work with sales, operations and logistics to align supply with demand.
• Forecast demand and adjust procurement strategies accordingly.
• Ensure all components meet regulatory and industry standards.
• Collaborate with quality control teams to prevent defects.
• Maintain compliance with environmental and ethical sourcing regulations.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality.
• Manage procurement budgets and ensure alignment with financial goals.
• Leverage bulk purchasing and strategic partnerships to optimize costs.
