Job summary

Thakral One is seeking a GPP Functional Tester to validate payment systems and core banking apps in a Singapore office. You will design, execute, and optimise test cases across cross-border and domestic payments, with hands-on exposure to SWIFT MT, ISO20022, and related hubs.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of testing experience with GPP payment systems and core banking apps.
• Functional knowledge of GPP Fusion/SP platforms for payments.
• Exposure to SWIFT Messaging Hub, Payments Hub, and ACH programs.
• Proficient in ISO20022 and SWIFT MT payment messages.
• Knowledge of oracle DB concepts and related data validation.

Job description

As a GPP Functional Tester, you will validate and ensure the reliability of payment systems and core banking applications. You will leverage your expertise in GPP Fusion/SP platforms, payment schemes, and messaging standards to design, execute, and optimise test cases that guarantee seamless cross-border and domestic payment operations.

What You’ll Do and How You’ll Succeed

• Perform functional testing on GPP Fusion/SP platforms for cross-border and domestic payments.
• Gain hands‑on exposure to payment systems including SWIFT Messaging Hub, Payments Hub, Clearing and Settlement, and ACH programs.
• Work with payment schemes such as ISO20022 and SWIFT MT messages.
• Query GPP Fusion databases and apply Oracle DB concepts to validate data integrity.
• Test payment hubs/factories, ACH, real‑time payments, FX, and messaging (SWIFT and ISO).
• Prepare and execute test plans and scripts across the testing lifecycle.
• Generate test plans and test cases, including leveraging AI tools (preferably Copilot).
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive test case suite.
• Design test cases based on user stories and requirements.
• Identify, document, and track defects effectively using appropriate tools.
• Collaborate with delivery teams and stakeholders to ensure quality outcomes.

Technical Expertise

• You are proficient in ISO20022 and SWIFT MT payment messages.
• You are familiar with Oracle DB concepts and GPP Fusion database structures.
• You have experience in Payment Hub/Factory, ACH, real‑time payments, FX, and messaging.
• You are skilled in designing and executing test plans and test cases.
• You have knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Selenium).
