Job summary

GLOBALFOUNDRIES is seeking a Technician, Equipment Engineering to support manufacturing operations in Singapore. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and shift support to maximize uptime and efficiency.

The ideal candidate holds Nitec/Higher Nitec or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics or Microelectronics Engineering, with 0–2 years’ experience and willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts. Safety and quality are prioritized.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOP and carry out CAS per specification.
• Perform shift duties (12-hours shift) to support the running of production in the Module and ensure equipment readiness.
• Execute in-depth preventive maintenance as per PM schedule and specifications.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment related issues to minimize downtime.
• Assist Engineer in installation and hookup of new or upgrading equipment.
• Maintain good housekeeping on the production floor and maintenance areas.
• Provide proper and accurate handover of line issues and documentation.
