Job summary

Tech Aalto Pte ltd in Singapore seeks an experienced Google Cloud Platform Architect to join our team on a contract basis. The role focuses 80% on cloud-related tasks and 20% on workplace technologies including imaging, endpoint security, network, and MS Office 365.

You will lead cloud strategy, guide architecture decisions for public cloud deployments, and collaborate with senior leaders on security and infrastructure initiatives while driving enterprise-level information security programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Google Cloud Platform architecture.
• Experience in cloud and workplace technologies.
• Background in IT security and risk management.
• Experience working with senior leadership (CISO/CIO/CTO) in InfoSec.
• Ability to define enterprise InfoSec landscape.
• Experience in enterprise-wide security posture analysis across networks, logs, DMZ.
• Certifications MCSE or CCNA Security.
• Strong TCP/IP knowledge.
• Program management background.
• Proficiency with Control-M or similar scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop cloud strategy by analyzing business and technical requirements.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in GCP architecture and a strong background in cloud and workplace technologies. This role will focus 80% on cloud-related tasks and 20% on other workplace technologies, including imaging, endpoint security, network, and MS Office 365.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cloud Strategy Development: Gather and analyze business and technical requirements to develop a comprehensive cloud strategy.
• Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership for software development architecture and design in the public cloud.
• Technology Solutions Advisory: Advise on choosing and adopting appropriate cloud technology solutions.
• Cloud Implementation & Maintenance: Implement and maintain cloud applications or platforms to optimize business processes.
• IT Infrastructure Assessment: Assess current IT infrastructure and recommend cloud solutions for improvement.
• Technical Assistance: Provide technical assistance for cloud computing activities, including troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Enterprise Architects in Data, Security, and Infra Domains to ensure cohesive and effective cloud strategies.
• Workplace Technology Management: Manage workplace technology, including imaging, endpoint security, network, and MS Office 365.

Skills & Qualifications:

• GCP Architecture Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Google Cloud Platform architecture.
• Cloud & Workplace Technology: Knowledge and experience in cloud and workplace technologies.
• IT Security & Risk Management: Background in IT security and risk management.
• Senior Leadership Interaction: Experience working with senior leadership (CISO/CIO/CTO) with at least 10+ years in the InfoSec domain.
• Enterprise InfoSec Landscape: Ability to define and implement an enterprise InfoSec landscape.
• Security Posture Analysis: Experience in driving enterprise initiatives for end-to-end security posture analysis across different layers/sources within the network environment or DMZ (including host logs, network traffic logs, firewall logs, and IDS system logs).
• Product Certifications: Relevant certifications such as MCSE, CCNA Security.
• TCP/IP Protocol Knowledge: Strong understanding of the TCP/IP protocol.
• Program Management: Strong background in program management.
• Control M/Scheduler: Proficiency in Control M or similar scheduling tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cloud Certification: Professional certification in Google Cloud Platform or related cloud technologies.
• MS Office 365 Expertise: Advanced knowledge of MS Office 365 administration and security.
• Network Security: Expertise in endpoint security and network management.
