Job summary

NCS is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Lead (Google Cloud Platform) to design, deploy and govern cloud architectures for large enterprise projects. You will focus on automation, security and continuous improvement in the GCP space.

The role requires 8+ years of hands-on GCP experience, strong Python and Shell scripting, and leadership to coordinate with directors and delivery teams. Cloud certifications and multi-cloud exposure are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Hold one or more professional-level Google Cloud certifications: Cloud Architect, Cloud DevOps Engineer, Cloud Developer, Generative AI Leader, Machine Learning Engineer.
• Hands-on experience of at least 5 years with Google Kubernetes Engine, Google Cloud KCC, Cloud Build and other CI/CD related technologies, Google Cloud Deployment Manager, Pulumi, Terraform.
• Strong hands-on experience of at least 5 years with Python scripting, Shell Scripting.
• Exposure to AI technologies, agentic workflows, AI solutioning, LLM optimization is an advantage.
• Scrum Master, PMP certifications are added advantages.
• At least 8 years of experience in managing large-scale enterprise projects ($5m) locally, preferably with SI company.
• Knowledge of analytics capturing tools and exposure to AWS/Azure.
• GovTech standards exposure is an added advantage.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management to Director level.

Responsibilities

• Lead cloud architecture solutions on Google Cloud Platform for large enterprise projects.
• Coordinate with internal/application stakeholders, senior management and delivery teams.
• Set priorities and align operations with client contractual obligations.
• Provide end-to-end service accountability and KPI reporting.
• Be focal point for escalations and client reporting on issues and incidents.
• Identify and implement new processes to improve service delivery.

Job Description

Infrastructure Lead (Google Cloud Platform) is responsible for leading and implementing cloud architecture solutions focusing on design, deployments, automation, security etc. in the GCP platform. There will be focus on continuous improvement approach for complex services in intricate scenarios such as Digital Transformation (DT), Operation & Maintenance (O&M), application deliverables and providing high visibility for Director-level stakeholders.

Responsibility

• Be strong technically in the Google Cloud Platform with minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in large enterprise scale projects
• Responsible to lead collaboration within internal application stakeholders, senior management, project leadership & delivery team
• In-Charge to set clear priorities and alignment of operation and maintenance with the client's contractual obligations
• Providing focus and accountability for end-to-end service context
• Focal point for reporting on the escalations to the client in respect of issues and incidents
• Responsible to ensure KPI reports on service delivery progress are delivered
• Establish leadership with stakeholders to identify, develop, implement and document new processes required to improve the service delivered to customers
• Review & Prepare project status reports, meeting minutes and actions list for all PMC reviews

Business Development

• Proactively identify opportunities for further expansion or improvement of services delivered to the customer and liaise with the Account Manager(s) for development of that opportunity
• Cultivate industry partnership and managing developer communities

Team Management

• Provide strong leadership to the project and application team to ensure key deliverables meet customer expectation
• Demonstrate team synergy and harmonize team integration
• A pro-active approach to work, with a positive can-do attitude

Qualifications

The Requirements:

• Mandatory – Hold one or more of Professional Level Google Cloud certifications: Cloud Architect, Cloud DevOps Engineer, Cloud Developer and other professional-level Google Cloud certifications such as Generative AI Leader, Machine Learning Engineer
• Mandatory - Strong hands-on experience of at least 5 years with Google Kubernetes Engine, Google Cloud KCC, Cloud Build and other CI/CD related technologies, Google Cloud Deployment Manager, Pulumi, Terraform etc.
• Mandatory - Strong hands-on experience of at least 5 years with Python scripting, Shell Scripting
• Strong exposure to AI Technologies, Agentic workflows, AI solutioning, LLM optimization etc. is an advantage
• Scrum Master, PMP certification etc. are added advantages
• A good Degree education in IT competency
• At least 8 years of experience in managing large-scale enterprise projects ($5m) locally, preferably with SI company
• Experience in software development and maintenance lifecycle
• Knowledge of analytics capturing tools such as Adobe/Google Analytics
• Exposure to other public cloud environment such as AWS, Azure
• Knowledge and exposure to relevant Singapore government standards published by GovTech is an added advantage
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to engage all stakeholders up to Director Level
• Strong leadership with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
