Job summary

Enterprise Singapore is seeking a policy-focused professional to join the Trade Development and Strategy team. You will interpret policy frameworks governing market access under FTAs and oversee the Commodity Trading Act, shaping regulatory processes and governance across the trade and commodity ecosystem.

In this role you will collaborate with companies, partners, and government agencies to translate commitments into practical guidance, champion market access, manage licensing under the CTA,

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to balance economic development and regulatory mindset.
• Strong process improvement mindset to streamline workflows and governance.
• Comfort reading detailed policy/regulatory documents and translating them into guidance.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with others.
• Meticulous and detail-oriented.
• Exposure to regulatory matters is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Translate FTAs into practical guidance for market access.
• Champion market access interests with government agencies and ministries.
• Manage the Commodity Trading Act licensing, assessments, and enquiries.
• Provide guidance on licensable activities under the CTA.
• Drive engagement with business community to raise awareness of FTA commitments and CTA.
