Job summary

HSBC Singapore invites graduates to join the Transaction Banking - Global Trade Solutions Graduate programme. You will learn trade finance, working capital, and the full lifecycle of deals while rotating across teams and developing client-facing skills in a global bank.

The programme runs 24 months from July 2027 and offers hands-on experience in structuring, execution, risk management, and reporting, with comprehensive training and a global network to support your HSBC career growth.

Qualifications

• Be available to work full time from July 2027 onwards.
• Must have recently graduated or be on track to graduate by July 2027 with good academic results.
• Less than 2 years of full-time job experience.

Responsibilities

• Gaining a deep understanding of Global Trade Solutions, including trade cycles, payments, products, documentation, and risks.
• Collaborating with HSBC colleagues worldwide to share insights and learn from experts.
• Seeing deals through from structuring to execution and delivery.
• Using tools to identify and manage operational and reputational risks.
• Preparing Letters of Credit and maintaining accurate reporting to keep deals on track.
• Analyzing data, supporting pitches, and contributing to client materials.
• Making recommendations that balance risk with opportunity.
• Performing sanctions screenings and AML checks as part of due diligence.
• Maintaining records and tracking trade volumes, payments, and currency movements.
