Job summary

Hyve Solutions seeks a Trade Compliance & Customs Specialist to oversee global import/export operations. You will ensure compliance with trade regulations, coordinate permits, and manage documentation for cross-border shipments with brokers and forwarders.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3–6 years in Singapore Customs or trade compliance, with strong Excel/PowerPoint skills and sharp attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3–6 years of relevant regulatory or import/export operations experience.
• Experience with HS classification and ECCN determination preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Manage import and export operations for cross-border shipments.
• Interpret trade, customs, and regulatory requirements for internal stakeholders.
• Review shipments for regulatory, licensing, and documentation needs.
• Support EAR compliance, including licensing requirements where applicable.
• Coordinate customs permit apps with brokers and resolve issues.
• Classify products using HS codes and ECCNs and maintain regulatory records.
• Prepare and validate shipping documents and certificates of origin.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound/RMA shipments with forwarders and couriers.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade, Business, or a related discipline
