Job summary

CIBC is seeking an associate in Trade Control to support Global Markets trading and sales teams in Singapore. The role involves acting as a liaison between front office and downstream teams, managing trade and system-related issues, onboarding new platforms, and partnering with technology for automations.

The ideal candidate has a quantitative degree and at least 4 years in financial services, with strong Excel and communication skills and experience with major market systems.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Commerce or Accounting.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Financial Services or relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal departments, traders, and marketers for trade control matters.
• Verify all trade details against blotters, broker confirms, external platforms, and trader files.
• Run daily trade control reports as part of control processes.
• Reconcile trades between internal and external systems.
• Maintain a strong knowledge of business products and stakeholders’ needs.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with timely responses to trading floor requests.
• Organize daily control records for audit purposes.
