Job summary

SD Legal, a mainstream technology platform headquartered in Singapore for the APAC region, is offering a unique opportunity to join a global platform reporting directly to the C-Suite with autonomy on transactions and commercial work.

The role focuses on supporting deal teams on a global level, negotiating complex commercial and regulatory matters, and aligning product, sales and marketing with regulatory requirements across Asia, US, and EMEA.

Qualifications

• 8–14 PQE with Tier 1 education and law firm credentials.
• Mixture of law firm and in-house experience.
• Experience in TMT.
• Experience supporting product, sales and marketing teams.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse Asian teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with deal teams on global commercial deal flow and lead negotiations.
• Provide real-time legal advice to product, sales and marketing teams and strategic input.
• Anticipate regulatory challenges and allocate resources with in-country counsel/external vendors.
• Collaborate with colleagues in Singapore and across Asia to ensure alignment with laws and regulations.
• Liaise with global products/projects across US and EMEA.
