Job summary
XG Tech PTE. LTD. seeks a Commercial Legal Counsel to provide strategic and practical legal support across commercial transactions, IP licensing and technology matters.
You will work with commercial, R&D, product and finance teams to support business negotiations, manage legal and commercial risks, and advise on cross-border matters involving Singapore and overseas stakeholders. You will also work closely with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and external counsel to support the company's
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Law or equivalent legal qualification.
- Singapore-qualified lawyer, admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore.
Responsibilities
- Partner with commercial and business teams on customer engagements, negotiations and key business projects.
- Draft, review and negotiate sales, licensing, services, collaboration, technology and other commercial agreements.
- Advise on intellectual property, IP licensing and technology transaction-related legal matters.
- Assess legal and commercial risks and provide practical, business-oriented legal advice to sales, product, R&D and finance teams.
- Support the development and maintenance of contract templates, legal guidelines and related processes.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel and professional advisers on commercial, IP and other legal matters as required.
