Job summary

ESSORSTEEL PTE. LTD. is seeking a Sales Executive with strong international trade experience to drive growth across Asia. The role emphasizes building long-term customer relationships, hunting new opportunities, and negotiating terms with suppliers and buyers.

The successful candidate will coordinate with multiple departments to finalize deals, monitor market trends, and travel within the Asia Pacific region on short notice as required.

Qualifications

• 6 years of international trade experience with measurable achievements.
• Graduates/postgraduates of Business Administration, Banking, International Trade.
• Strong knowledge of steel industry in Asia and international trade concepts.
• Familiar with product quality requirements from Asian customers and coordination with factories.
• Experience selling steel products / steel making materials is a plus.
• Independent, confident with a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement action plans to meet sales targets set by the Director.
• Forecast annual quotas and set objectives for regions and territories.
• Build and maintain relationships to boost customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Proactively search for potential customers through multiple channels.
• Attend inquiries, provide prompt responses, and prepare comprehensive proposals.
• Coordinate with Chartering, Operations, Finance, Legal to finalize deals and ensure compliance.
• Stay informed about industry trends and competitors to seize opportunities.
