Job summary

Singapore Public Service is seeking a Policy professional to support the Policy & Promotion team within the Quality & Excellence Group. You will conduct policy research, analyse standards and conformance, and help Singapore engage internationally on trade and conformity issues.

The role involves coordinating inter-agency positions, managing multiple workstreams, and organizing meetings and events with internal and external stakeholders to promote trusted quality infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Ability to conduct policy research and analysis, synthesising information from multiple sources to develop well-reasoned positions and recommendations.
• Familiarity with standards, conformance, or trade-related policy frameworks — such as FTAs or STRACAP.
• Experience coordinating international or regional engagements and managing multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
• Ability to communicate complex policy issues clearly in writing and discussion for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and analysis on Standards and Conformance (S&C) to support strategic plans.
• Support Singapore's engagement at regional S&C platforms across ASEAN and APEC.
• Coordinate inter-agency positions on standards, technical regulations, and STRACAP topics.
• Manage and support projects linked to international engagements, meetings, and fora commitments.
• Provide logistical and coordination support for the division's activities with stakeholders.
