Job summary

CLP International Pte Ltd is seeking a skilled Trade Documents professional to manage end‑to‑end shipping documentation for imports/exports, issue and negotiate letters of credit, and coordinate with warehouses, carriers and overseas partners.

You will ensure compliance with Incoterms, perform customs declarations, and handle hazardous cargo matters, with strong SAP and MS Office proficiency. Immediate start preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold Tradenet/Tradeweb and Customs Competency certificates.
• Strong knowledge of import/export documentation and procedures.
• Familiar with Incoterms, UPC rules, and demurrage/laytime.
• Able to issue L/C and knowledge of S/G, D/A, D/P.
• Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with hazardous cargo and marine insurance claims.
• Diploma or O Level minimum requirement.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• Able to multi-task and start work immediately.
• Fully vaccinated.

Responsibilities

• Prepare full set of Shipping Documents (Import/Export, Back to Back & Transhipment), including D/O and invoices.
• Issue L/C for imports and negotiate L/C for exports.
• Customs Permit Declaration & CNB Licence Application.
• Handle marine insurance and claims.
• Coordinate with warehouse, freight forwarders & liners.
• Source competitive freight rates.
• Liaise with overseas customers/suppliers and other departments.
• Check HS Codes.
• Check and accept vessel nomination.
• Liaise with overseas customers.
