Qualifications

Responsibilities

As part of the TikTok Platform Responsibility organization, the Global Quality Operations team is dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of reliability and efficiency for the systems and tools used by our global content moderation workforce. We drive operational excellence by building effective end-to-end ticket and user issue management, standardizing quality and training frameworks, and integrating scalable AI solutions into our quality assurance and ticket audit processes. By partnering closely with product experts and our global vendor operations teams, we continuously identify opportunities for improvement and bridge operational gaps to deliver the most seamless content moderation platform experience. We are seeking a talented and driven AI Solutions Specialist to join our Global Quality Operations Team. In this newly created role, you will be the primary technical expert responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining AI-based tools and solutions that enhance our quality operations. You will leverage cutting-edge artificial intelligence, machine learning, and generative AI technologies to automate workflows, improve decision-making processes, and drive operational excellence across our global teams.

• Solution Development: Design, build, and deploy robust AI/ML applications and generative AI tools tailored to solve complex challenges within Global Quality Operations.
• Maintenance & Optimization: Continuously monitor, maintain, and upgrade existing AI tools to ensure high performance, accuracy, scalability, and reliability.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with quality assurance specialists, operations managers, and engineering teams to identify bottlenecks and discover opportunities for AI-driven automation.
• System Integration: Integrate AI models seamlessly into existing enterprise systems, databases, and operational workflows.
• Data Strategy & Security: Ensure all AI solutions adhere to data privacy regulations and security compliance standards. Work with data pipelines to ensure high-quality data input for model training and inference.
• Technical Leadership: Act as the subject matter expert for AI within the team, providing guidance and training on new tools to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in software engineering and developing AI-based solutions (chatbot, workflow agents, complex automation, etc.).
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java.
• Practical experience working with existing Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and utilizing AI APIs (e.g., LangChain) to integrate and extract desired outputs from established AI tools.
• Solid understanding of SQL, data modeling, and API integrations.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the capacity to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business insights.
• Project management / stakeholder management.

Preferred Qualification(s):

• Prior experience working in Quality Assurance, User Operations, or a related field is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with Content Safety / Content Moderation processes.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, LangChain, scikit-learn).
