KLA is seeking a Product Installation Engineer to lead the on‑time installation and qualification of advanced semiconductor capital equipment at customer sites worldwide. You will own installation performance, coordinate with engineering and customer teams, and ensure a smooth handoff and warranty start.

The role demands strong electronics/optics know‑how, a bachelor’s in engineering, and a willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of electronics, optics, mechanical, electro‑mechanical, and electro‑optical systems.
• Experience with high‑vacuum systems strongly preferred.
• Comfort working with computer systems, operating systems, and networking.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Willing to travel domestically and internationally.
• Bachelor degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent.
• 1–6 years of relevant industry experience preferred.
• Fresh graduates with strong credentials may be considered for entry‑level roles.

Responsabilités

• Install and qualify advanced KLA systems at customer sites globally, on schedule.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve installation issues by identifying root causes.
• Perform setup, alignment, calibration, and verification of complex capital equipment.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with regions, engineering, and customer teams.
• Provide clear status updates to stakeholders throughout the installation.
• Complete installation documentation and secure warranty sign‑off on tools.
