Job summary

Goldman Sachs in Singapore seeks an Analyst to join Global Procurement Operations within CPM. Based in Singapore, you will support procure-to-pay activities for China and Taiwan while providing coverage across APAC, collaborating with regional and global stakeholders.

You will analyze data, contribute to management reporting, drive process improvements, and ensure controls and efficiency. A Mandarin proficiency and strong communication are essential to engage with cross-border teams and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 1–4 years of relevant experience, preferably in accounts payable, procure-to-pay, payment operations, or a related finance operations role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office products.
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken Mandarin Chinese, including reading Chinese-language business information.
• Effective organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver accurate work under time pressure.
• A proactive, driven, and self-motivated approach, with the commitment to improving processes and strengthening controls.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work independently and collaborate across regional and global teams.

Responsibilities

• Acquire in depth understanding of the regulations, tax handling and accounting controls in multiple jurisdictions associated with invoice payments.
• Understand and adhere to the firm’s policies on vendor governance, payment management and documentation.
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends and root causes to engage stakeholders for improvements.
• Drive process transformations to enhance operating efficiencies and controls.
• Participate in platform upgrades, system enhancements, and user acceptance testing; document results and follow up on issues.
• Develop and deliver training programs to end-users.
