Job summary

Charterhouse Partnership's client, a Global Precision Equipment Design & Manufacturing MNC, is seeking a Global Procurement Head for Assembly Test Materials & OSAT. You will drive global category strategies, supplier risk management, and cross-functional alignment across site networks.

Reporting to the Global CPO in the USA, you will negotiate contracts, optimize cost of ownership, and build partnerships with automation vendors to support expansion and resiliency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 12–15 years of end-to-end supply chain or engineering management experience in a high-volume precision manufacturing environment.
• Proven solution-oriented mindset to navigate a complex, matrix organizational structure.
• Hands-on expertise in procurement and supply chain excellence; strong stakeholder influence across global teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead global category management and supplier risk mitigation across backend test and assembly sites.
• Manage complex outsourced manufacturing partners to align supply and demand and strengthen resilience.
• Negotiate contracts and commercial agreements with cross-functional teams (Manufacturing, Engineering, SCM).
• Build partnerships with automation integrators, machine builders, and equipment manufacturers to support expansion.
• Lead cost benchmarking, should-cost analysis, and total cost of ownership evaluations.

The company has a significant presence in Asia in terms of its reputable market position in developing best-in-class supply chain and strategic procurement management capabilities and takes pride in ensuring optimized complex Test & Assembly Manufacturing activities to achieve maximized customer satisfaction.

They are currently on an active look out for a suitable candidate as a Global Procurement Head, Assembly Test Materials & OSAT, who is the critical point of contact in terms of ensuring smooth supplier performance accountability and formulate effective global category execution framework in a complex and high volume manufacturing environment across multiple global sites concerned.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to the Global Chief Procurement Officer based in the USA, and this position will be focusing on the below:

• Lead global category management strategies to put in place a streamlined supplier risk mitigation framework to ensure optimal supply assurance across various backend test and assembly sites worldwide.
• Directly in charge of managing complex outsourced manufacturing partners to drive demand-supply alignment to ensure supply chain resilience framework.
• Lead strategic supplier negotiations, contracts, and commercial agreements by partnering with global cross-functions, specifically Manufacturing, Engineering and Supply Chain Management etc.
• Build long-term partnerships with automation integrators, machine builders, and equipment manufacturers to optimally support business expansion, including that of identifying opportunities to drive supplier consolidation, cost reduction, and value engineering initiatives.
• Lead cost benchmarking, should-cost analysis, and total cost of ownership evaluation.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree with at least 12-15 years of relevant experience in end-to-end Supply Chain or Engineering Management experiences in a complex and high volume Precision Manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record in acquired solution-oriented mind set to deal with complex and matrix organizational framework.
• Excellent hands-on experience and knowledge in driving Procurement and Supply Chain Excellence.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills to relay and/or drive process improvements across a global organization to regional/ global stakeholders involved.
• Good understanding of SAP and equivalent ERP system is highly preferred
