Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) is seeking a Privacy and Technology Lawyer to join the Global Privacy Office within the Technology and Operations Legal Team. The role focuses on privacy, data protection, AI governance, cybersecurity and regulatory developments across 70+ countries, partnering with business, technology and control functions to enable innovation and responsible data use.

Qualifications

Significant experience in privacy and data protection.
Strong knowledge of UK GDPR, GDPR and global privacy principles.
Experience providing practical legal advice within a large organisation.
Experience conducting privacy assessments and implementing governance controls.
Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly.
Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

Advise on privacy and data protection across LSEG’s products and functions.
Support the privacy programme, policies and controls.
Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments and DPIAs for new products and processes.
Advise on lawful processing, transparency and data subject rights.
Support privacy aspects of customer, supplier and intra-group contracts.
Collaborate with Product, Legal and Compliance on new capabilities and datasets.
Ensure responsible use of personal data in screening, monitoring and risk management.
