Job summary

Tencent’s WeiXin Group seeks a senior business development professional to drive the growth of WeChat Payment with overseas merchants and expand market reach. You will lead cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure seamless integration and execution of payment solutions.

Develop relationships with regulators and financial institutions, identify strategic opportunities, and pursue partnerships to strengthen the product’s international positioning and brand awareness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with 3+ years in business development
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to close high-value contracts
• Experience in managing cross-border business development and partnerships
• In-depth knowledge of the payments/fintech industry
• Fluency in English and Mandarin
• Analytical mindset with drive for results

Responsibilities

• Spearhead promotion and launch of WeChat Payment with overseas merchants
• Lead cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless integration and execution of payment solutions
• Develop and maintain relationships with regulators, financial institutions and institutional service providers
• Identify opportunities and pursue strategic partnerships to enhance value proposition
• Export industry-specific solutions and set benchmarks to increase market presence abroad
• Analyze market trends and competitor strategies to refine growth approaches
